Feeling film Vitalina Varela

I've wanted to write about a film for a few days now and today, precisely, that day has arrived. It is very true that time has passed since the last time I wrote. But also because when we lose our time of life, we also lose its grace. Earlier I was talking about politics, control, and forms of domination. Just as a reminder, you can read them here and here. At the same time cinema like literature makes me vice-versa of a lot of things.

Early on they spoke, but out of my ignorance, I couldn't really notice what they were talking about. They were walls and they were also streets. This is how the film begins and it takes us along a path in which step by step from childhood into each old age it returns again. The language is Portuguese, and the country is Portugal. When I looked face to face, it showed more others, since those who had colonized siblings, few or none of them spoke. I broke this silence. The relationship is as if our present had already passed. So, first and foremost, the film Vitalina Varela (2019) is about class struggle.

Why should we watch this film? Because we can learn about what life is about. Both you and I can see a woman being the protagonist of her own story. She directs and, at the same time, is the main actress.
